Bookings and Payments
In order to book a tour with us you will need to send a 30% non-refundable deposit via Zelle bank transfer. If you cannot use Zelle (ie you don’t have a U.S. bank account) you are welcome to send your payment via Paypal but we require that you add an additional 5% to the total to cover the Paypal fees. If you forget to add the 5%, the final amount we receive will be considered your deposit and the reminder will be added to your final balance.
If you prefer to pay your balance in cash (and thus avoid the Paypal fees), that’s fine, but we will only accept pesos, not euros or dollars or any other currency. Get in touch and we can send you the balance amount converted into pesos.
Your tour will ONLY be confirmed once you send the required deposit, until you do, the day and time of your tour will be considered OPEN and can therefore be booked by another customer.
Payment in full is due 24 hours before your tour, please send the payment via the above methods.
Cancellation
We hate when tours get canceled! But we know it happens sometimes so here is how we deal with it.
If you cancel: The deposit that you pay to book your tour is non-refundable, but if you want to reschedule we will respect your deposit payment towards the same tour or a different tour for a year from the date of your original tour (for up to two cancellations).
If you cancel within 24 hours of your tour you will not receive a refund. If you cancel before 24 hours of your tour you will be refunded everything except your deposit amount (which can be applied to a future tour).**
If your group changes size and you don’t let us know before 24 hours in advance the balance is the same regardless.
If we cancel: You will receive a full refund, including the deposit payment.
If there is a natural disaster or other unexpected act of god or man: We can’t control the universe unfortunately, and for cancellation for anything beyond our control we will refund you everything but the 30% non-refundable deposit.
If it rains: All tours run rain or shine, so please prepare for the weather by bringing umbrellas and rain jackets. We will try to give you as much advance warning as possible about what we predict the weather will be.
** Deposits paid for any tour where advance tickets are required will NOT be credited towards a future tour if the tickets have already been purchased.
